CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP
A Westmoreland County woman is identified as the victim of the theft of a weapon in Conemaugh Township. State police say a .380 caliber Kimber Micro handgun belonging to 24-year-old Briana Clawson of Harrison City was stolen from a location in the 100 block of Nowrytown Road between January 1st and April 30th. They do not provide any other details on how the gun went missing. The pistol’s serial number is M0018018. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 357-1960.
BRUSH VALLEY TOWNSHIP
Police are investigating a vandalism incident along Route 259 in Brush Valley Township. Somebody cut the inner lining on a swimming pool at the Overdorff family home sometime since the first of the year. The damage was discovered on Monday.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
One of the drivers was injured yesterday in a two-vehicle accident on Route 22 in Burrell Township. It happened at 5:18 PM. State police say 70-year-old Gloria Erculiani of Gallitzen, Cambria County, was unable to stop in time and crashed into the rear of a vehicle operated by 44-year-old Bobbie Lute of Bolivar near the intersection with Villa Road. Erculiani suffered a minor injury but did not require treatment.
