Margaret Ann “Peg” McCauley, 79, of Home, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Erwin and Sarah Means Thompson, she was born Jan. 3, 1939, in Allegheny County.
Mrs. McCauley was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. After 15 years of working in retail sales, she retired from K-mart. She enjoyed traveling, shooting her gun, doing crossword puzzles, working jigsaw puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by “her buddy”, Bill Frech, of Home; three children: Colleen McCauley, of Troutville; Denece Dinger and husband Steve, of Summerville; Shawn McCauley and wife Kelly, of Bluffton, SC; a sister, Sally Kohler, of Verona; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Thompson.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
