widowed from her husband, Dudley C. Rhea, Sr., December 9, 1993.
Mary Jane attended the United Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville for several years before going to the Christ Bible Fellowship, where she attended for the rest of her life. She also was a former childrens Sunday School teacher and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She prayed and read her bible every day.
Besides being a homemaker and raising three children, Mary Jane worked for Dixon Meats in West Lebanon for nearly twenty years.
She is survived by her children: D. Curtis Rhea (Janie); Sandra Senick and Sarah Rhea, all of Homer City. Mary Jane will also be remembered by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Jane was preceded in death by: grandson, Robert Daniel Senick; son-in-law, John Robert Senick, II; brother, Thomas H. Stuchell and a sister, Alice McCracken.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 27th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. On Wednesday, March 28th there will be a visitation from 10 AM until eleven o’clock, the time of the funeral service at the funeral home. VNA Hospice Chaplain, Lori Parks will officiate. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville.
