Peggy was born in 1938 the daughter of Ernest and Mary Golden Slippy, Penn Run, PA
In October of 1956 she married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Palmer , who preceded her in death on 10/1/1979. Together they had six (6) wonderful children. Thirty two years ago on June 15, 1985 Peggy married , Joseph Sisko, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Charlotte Slippy, and mother in law Addie Palmer.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Joe, Homer City; sister, Gladys (Tom) Wilson, California children, Randy (Dawn) Palmer, Buckeye, AZ; Glenda Palmer, Alverda; Ken (Theresa) Palmer, Penn Run; Oma Palmer, Birchwood, TN; Joyce Pennington, Penn Run; Mona Palmer, Alcoa, TN; special daughters; Mardell Mack, Teresa Thayer and Shawn Brabham; step children, Shelly (Bill) Kimmell, Pittsburgh, Joc (Rick) Saxman, Warren, Cindy Sisko, Indiana, Jeff Sisko, Homer City, David (Sheila) Sisko, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, Glenn Palmer, Kyle (Nicole) Palmer, Paige (Michael) Bauer, Brianna Palmer, Charisma Palmer, Kenna (Michael) Smith, Thera Palmer, Veronica Palmer, Zane Palmer, Michael Mussomeli, Andrea Mussomeli, Matthew Pennington, Brandy (Jerry) Cordero; 11 great grandchildren, Ty Mussomeli, Alyssa and Emma Pratt, Gavin Dunmyer, Brayden and Rowen Cordero, Adrian, Samantha and Dakota Pennington, Aiden and River Smith; 3 nephews – Tom Wilson, Andy (Margaret) Wilson, John (Susan) Wilson and families all of California; 14 step grandchildren, Michael Kimmel, Katie Kimmel, Stephen Kimmel and Karen Kimmel, Robbie Saxman, Nikki (Kyle) Ristaus, and TJ Saxman, Christopher Henry, Michael Henry, Douglas Henry and Chantal Sisko, Nick Sisko, Brian Sisko and Shannon Sisko; 1 step great grandchild, Ava Kimmel
Peggy was a life long member of Harmony United Presbyterian Church of Penn Run. Prior to retirement Peggy was employed at Indiana County United Way, Indiana County Domestic Relations, and McCreary Tire Credit Union
Peggy enjoyed going to the beach, traveling to visit family in various areas of the United States, visiting Sedona, AZ, eating out with friends and just being with family at every opportunity. She will be remembered by all who loved her for her famous Grandma Peggy buns.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 A.M. with Pastor Lea Austin officiating. Interment will be made in the Manor Cemetery.
