Indiana Borough police are investigating a threatening message found yesterday at a home on Maple Street. A woman reported that someone wrote the message on the front door of her apartment at 759 Maple Street.

State police report the theft of five wheels and tires from the front yard of a home on Dixon Road in Cherryhill Township. It happened between November 30th and December 1st. The suspect is a 56-year-old Creekside man who police say sold the wheels to Iron Horse Salvage.

State police have issued reports on two weekend traffic accidents. The first of them was on Friday night on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County. Police say a man from Shelocta was pulling out from Satterlee’s fueling station when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle operated by a woman from Lexington, Ohio. No one was hurt.

Police are searching for the vehicle which hit a parked car in the Valley Dairy parking lot in Burrell Township on Saturday afternoon. No one was hurt. The offending vehicle’s driver fled in an unknown direction.
