A Lebanon, PA woman was arrested on Friday as the result of a joint drug investigation between Indiana Borough Police and US Postal Inspectors.
The two groups started the investigation on March 23rd of last year, and through the course of the investigation, they found 21-year-old Carla Thomas was found to be in possession of seven pounds of marijuana in her home in the 500 block of Shyrock Avenue. The warrant for her arrest was issued on Friday and she was arrested with the assistance of IUP police. Thomas was arraigned in front of District Judge Guy Haberl on a charge each of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.
She was released on $20,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for February 15th.
