WHITE TOWNSHIP
State police have released very little information about a sexting investigation in White Township. Police say only that it involves a juvenile male sending a pornographic picture of himself to another juvenile via Facebook Messenger, and that the second child sent the picture to another juvenile.
The location was Saltsburg Avenue, and the incident happened December 14th. The case is being classified as “transmission of sexually explicit images by a minor”.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
Emergency Medical Services personnel administered Narcan to revive a 20-year-old Black Lick man who had overdosed on heroin on December 18th. The man refused further medical treatment, but now faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police do not identify the man. It happened on Main Street in Black Lick.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
State police also say a juvenile had drug paraphernalia on school property at the Indiana Senior High School last month. The items were found on January 19th at 7:35 AM.
PINE TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a burglary in Pine Township. The burglary happened between the October 1st and December 1st, but police are reporting the details on this just now. 26-year-old Vernon Hazlett of Cherry Tree went on to the property of a 61-year-old Penn Run man on Route 422 and into a shed. Hazlett is accused of taking a stereo and a set of speakers, and then selling the items on Craigslist. Charges of burglary, criminal trespass, and theft are pending with District Judge George Thachick’s Office in Clymer.
HOMER CITY
No one was hurt in a crash in Homer City on Wednesday afternoon in Homer City. The crash was at the intersection of Route 119 and Ridge Avenue around 2:25 PM. 34-year-old Jessica Kelly of Delmont was going south on 119 when 54-year-old Allen Arlott of Commodore turned in front of her and the two collided. The impact pushed Arlott’s car into a mailbox on the side of Ridge Avenue. Arlott was cited for failure to obey a traffic-control device.
