The West Shamokin Wolves dominated the second half and defeated the Homer-Center Wildcats, 42-32, to win the first Heritage Conference Girls’ Basketball Championship Friday night at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
West Shamokin outscored Homer-Center, 27-15, to overcome a 17-15 deficit at halftime.
Andrea Orlosky scored seven of her game-high 13 points in the second half to lead the West Shamokin effort. Olivia Fusaro scored seven of her 11 points in the second half for the Wolves as well.
Alexis Newhouse scored 10 points to lead Homer-Center.
