BURRELL TOWNSHIP
A Somerset County woman is facing drug charges after her lost wallet was found in the restroom of the Burrell Township Walmart last Friday, but with drugs inside.
State police say the wallet of 55-year-old Brenda Sue Miller of Stoystown had been found by Walmart personnel who had opened it and found two small bags of drugs inside. Police were notified and Miller admitted to a state trooper that the bags contained “crank”, a cheap form of methamphetamine. Miller is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP
A Homer City man is facing harassment charges for sending mail to a 71-year-old Clymer man containing – quote – “alarming and annoying false accusations” against the victim. 63-year-old Steven Kisiel is charged with harassment for sending the mail on three occasions, on January 30th, February 3rd, and February 8th. Police don’t identify the victim, who lives in Cherryhill Township.
YOUNG TOWNSHIP
Police have charged a McIntyre woman with driving under the influence for a December crash into a structure on a property in Young Township. 27-year-old Brittany Reed’s vehicle hit the structure at the intersection with Route 286 and McIntyre Road just before midnight on Christmas day.
