The state Department of Education has honored thirteen schools with its Career and Technical Education Excellence Awards. Among the award winners is the Indiana County Technology Center.
The awards were presented last week at an event in Hershey. To qualify, a school must have an approved Career & Technical Education program and have at least 75 percent of its students participating in the NOCTI or NIMS skills assessments.
ICTC offers a student curriculum in five core areas: Automotive Technologies, Construction and Building Trades, Engineering Technologies, Information Technologies, and Public Service Occupations.
