Charges of theft are pending for a man from Home Station. State Police say on February 16th, 37-year-old Marcus Niehenke filled a shopping cart with various items and went into the self-checkout lane at the Wal-Mart on Oakland Avenue. While he did scan and pay for several items, there were fifteen items in his cart that he didn’t scan, but bagged anyway and placed the bags in his cart with the other merchandise. He was stopped as he tried to leave the store. The items were valued around $250.
An Indiana woman was robbed of $700. State Police report on January 7th between 4:00 and 9:45 PM someone broke into the apartment of Brandi McKendrick on Maple Street in White Township and stole the money. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 724-357-1960.
State police report another theft from a car in White Township. Sometime between noon on February 14th and 4:00 PM on the 16th, someone took a Ruger .45 Caliber gun from a car parked in a driveway along Josephine Avenue. The gun belongs to a 21-year-old Indiana man.
A motor stand was taken from a home in White Township. State Police say the theft happened on February 18th around 1:46 PM. The motor stand belongs to Larry Brewer of Clymer. State Police want you to contact them if you have any information.
