No one was hurt in a fire in North Mahoning Township early this morning.
Indiana County 911 reported that Clymer, Plumville, Rural Valley and Marion Center fire departments along with the RIG team and Citizens Ambulance were dispatched at 4:35 AM to a structure fire on Route 954 North in South Mahoning Township. The building was a two-story home where Doug Bush and his wife were living. According to Rick Stenman of the Plumville Fire Department, it was a quick knockdown, and the fire was contained to the basement, where it started. There was smoke through the house, but that was quickly ventilated.
Stenman said the cause of the fire was electrical. The home itself was saved, and the Bush’s home is insured.
