The Indiana School Board approved taking a look at other recent building projects as part of their research into the proposed Ben Franklin Elementary project.
The motion was made by Tamara Leeper, who said that she wanted to get more information on what other schools had done for similar projects, including what they regretted not including in their plans.
While the board was unanimous and some in the crowd were happy with it, some, like Terry Kerr, hoped that they would pay a visit to the schools rather than just call them up and talk.
In other business, the board approved a motion to renew the contract with Source4Teachers with a .75% increase over the four years of the contract. The board did leave on the table a motion to mail the Q and A results from the January 30th outreach meeting to district residents, as information is still being compiled.
