One person had suspected minor injuries in a crash in West Wheatfield Township on the morning of February 22nd.
State Police say Cheryl Blanar of New Florence was driving on Route 22 East near Round Top Drive and was slowing down in the right hand lane to make a right turn when she was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer truck driven by Kenneth Rose of Vine Grove, Kentucky. Blanar’s pickup truck went off the south shoulder and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
Both vehicles had major damage and required towing. Blanar was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment. Rose was cited by state police for speeding.
