The West Shamokin Wolves defeated Tyrone, 58-42, to win the District 6 Class AAA girls’ basketball championship Saturday at Mt. Aloysius College.
Andrea Orlosky scored 18 points to lead the Wolves (24-2), with Jasah Huth adding 17 and Olivia Fusaro contributing 16.
West Shamokin will play the sixth seed out of the WPIAL in the first round of the state playoffs next Saturday.
