The 2016 Teddy Bear Fund Drive was once again a smash success, raising a lot of money for Indiana Regional Medical Center Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. The Chairman of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive, Renda Broadcasting General Manager Mark Bertig unveiled the totals earlier today at a ceremony at IRMC’s cafeteria, and he announced that the fund drive raised $120,326.71. IRMC will receive $97,298.77, while the rest will go to Children’s Hospital.
Steve Wolfe, President and CEO of Indiana Regional Medical Center, talked about how important the donation is to IRMC in their quest to remain independent. In an era where many hospitals are joining large groups, IRMC is able to maintain its independence, despite the rising cost of healthcare, including the cost of new equipment and facilities.
We here at your hometown radio stations thank the Indiana county area for their generous contributions to the 2016 Teddy Bear Fund Drive.
