An Indiana pizza restaurant was recently named one of the best in the region.
In today’s edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, one of their staffers proclaimed that Indiana-based Josephine’s Pizzaria and Enoteca was named the best pizza in the region. The staffer was in the area for a hockey game and tried Josephine’s out. Nick Karas of Josephine’s said that he didn’t know the staffer was in town.
Audio PlayerKaras added that the pizza they had was the Sopresa, or surprise pizza, which puts the diner in the hands of the pizza maker. He said that the good review would help not only his business, but Downtown Indiana as well.
Audio PlayerKaras and his crew are also getting ready for the upcoming United Way fundraiser “Soup-er Bowl Day” on Monday January 27th, which will take place at his neighboring restaurant, Nap’s.
