Indiana Borough Police investigators are continuing to follow leads as they work to capture the three men involved in Friday night’s armed robbery and shooting at side-by-side addresses along Wayne Avenue.
In their latest update, police say cell phones taken from the first address were discarded near the intersection of Philadelphia Street and College Lodge Road and have been recovered. There were no additional findings reported.
Two people were injured in the incident. One victim was shot in the neck and the other suffered an undisclosed injury. Three men are at large.
Borough Police, State Police, and IUP Police are investigating, with assistance from the Indiana County District Attorney’s office. Another investigative update will be released at three o’clock this afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 349-2121.
