After an extended Spring Break, classes are scheduled to resume today at IUP, but only remotely. No one will be in class on campus, as faculty transition their courses to online learning only.
Faculty members have spent the last couple of weeks preparing for the transition, especially since the announcement last Monday that it would be mandatory.
The IUP residence halls are mostly empty now, with the university taking special measures for students who have no alternative housing, especially international students who cannot travel home.
