The PNC Bank Branch in Downtown Indiana had closed on a temporary basis and as of November 20th, the branch will close for good and combine with a second PNC Bank branch in White Township.
In a statement, PNC Bank said that the closure of what is known as the Farmer’s Branch was independent of the impacts created by Covid-19. The closure comes as a result of ongoing evaluations on their branch offices. Those evaluations include the effectiveness of the branch location and the number of customers that are served at the location.
Customers who were served at the Downtown Indiana branch will be able to continue to bank with PNC Bank with their location at 76 South Ben Franklin Road, near the intersection of Ben Franklin Road and Philadelphia Street.
