The already-reduced seasons at Kennywood, Idlewild, and Sandcastle will come to an early end this year, according to the parks’ owner. The three parks will close on Labor Day, September 7th. Season passes for 2020 will be extended to cover the entire 2021 season.
Remaining open dates for Idlewild & Soak Zone and for Sandcastle will be today through Sunday, next Saturday and Sunday, and September 4th through the 7th. Kennywood will be open for the same dates, plus next Friday the 28th.
Special events such as Phantom Fright Nights in October and the Holiday Lights at Kennywood will not be held this year.
