
Gas prices on average across Pennsylvania are going up once again.
The average cost of a gallon of gasoline in Pennsylvania is now at $2.52 a gallon, according to Triple-A. That is five cents higher than where it was last week and 11 cents higher than last month, but it is still 20 cents lower than where it was last year at this time.
The average cost of gas in Indiana County is at $2.57 a gallon. Gas prices in White and Center Townships and in Indiana, Homer City and Clymer Boroughs are $2.59 a gallon. Blairsville’s gas prices are at the $2.53 a gallon mark.
Indiana County’s average gas price cost is tied with Armstrong and Jefferson counties. Westmoreland County’s average is lower at $2.56 a gallon, while Cambria and Clearfield County’s average gas prices are $2.58 a gallon.
Across the state, Carbon County has the lowest average at $2.42 a gallon, while Bedford County has the highest state-wide average at $2.60 a gallon.
