The preliminary hearing for one of the four suspects in the fatal shooting at Carriage House Apartments was continued today.
The reason why the hearing of 20-year-old Isaiah A. Moore of Philadelphia was delayed is because Moore has not been able to get an attorney to represent him in court, be it a public defender or a private attorney. No word yet on when the preliminary hearing will take place, but we have been told that the hearing will be held at the County Courthouse.
Moore, along with along with 17-year-old Isabella Edmonds of Indiana, 21-year-old Delmar Chatman of Johnstown and 18-year-old Terrion Gates, also of Johnstown, are charged with crimes related to the shooting of Jaedyn Wright in the early morning on October 17th in the parking lot of the apartment complex in the 1300 block of Oakland Avenue. Police believe the four went to Wright to acquire marijuana from Wright, which ended with Wright being shot.
Moore, along with Edmonds and Chatman are all in Indiana County Jail on no bail, while Gates remains at large. Indiana Borough Police are asking the public to help find Gates. Anyone with information on his location can call police at 724-349-2121.
