On Monday, the Salvation Army of Indiana County announced that with four days to go in the annual red kettle campaign, the charitable group surpassed their $60,000 goal.
In an interview on Indiana in the Morning, Lieutenant Candace Horsman of the Salvation Army announced that as of Saturday, the group collected $73,468.50, smashing the 2020 Red Kettle Campaign goal. Horsman said she believed that for many people, the Covid-19 pandemic may have put some things into perspective and that inspired them to contribute.
