The Indiana County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force has announced the arrest of an Indiana resident last Friday during a drug raid.
In a news release from District Attorney Robert Manzi, members of the drug task force executed a search warrant on January 8th at the home of 21-year-old Toby Takach in the 400 block of South 6th Street. That was in response to a tip they received the week before, and subsequent investigation turned up enough evidence to obtain a warrant.
Law enforcement officials from Indiana and Clymer Borough Police departments, the county sheriff’s office and state police took part in the investigation. Officers found in the house five firearms, numerous boxes of ammunition, several pounds of marijuana and THC wax, along with LSD, psilocybin, a digital scale, other distribution items, a vacuum sealer, a drug-debts book and $26,000 in cash. Takach told police that he sold narcotics when police interviewed him.
