State police are looking for two women connected with the theft of cash from the Walmart in White Township on Sunday.
Police say around 2:28 PM on Sunday, two women entered the Walmart on Oakland Avenue and went to the customer service counter. One of them gave the cashier a $20 gift card and a $50 bill. The cashier opened the drawer and the woman who gave the gift card reached in the drawer. The cashier grabbed a stack of $100 bills, and while the second suspect began to wave her hands to distract the cashier, the first suspect was able to take $2100 in cash. The two fled the scene by getting into a black Dodge Caravan and exited the parking lot by driving in reverse the length of the parking lot and into the lane of traffic.
One of the suspects had “dirty blonde” hair and wore a black vest, a long sleeve white shirt that appeared to have a leopard print on it. The other suspect was wearing a black puffer-style jacket and black pants, and had medium length brown or black curly hair.
