INDIANA FIRE ASSOCIATION DEAL WITH FOUR CALLS IN FOUR HOUR SPAN

Indiana Fire Company had a busy day on Sunday with four calls within four hours, with three of those calls for automatic fire alarms.

The string of calls started at 2:15 PM on Sunday with the first automatic fire alarm at a location on Oakland Avenue. Companies four and one were dispatched.

Company two was called out at 3:51 PM for an automatic fire alarm at a location on North 7^th Street in the borough.

At 4:24 PM, companies three and four were dispatched to Plaza Road in White Township for the third straight automatic fire alarm call.

The final call was for a carbon monoxide alarm in Indiana Borough on South 7^th Street.  The fire department was joined for that call by Citizens’ Ambulance.

Two other fire departments were called out earlier in the day for a vehicle fire on Route 403 in Pine and Cherryhill Townships.  Their respective fire departments were on the scene for those around 12:05 PM.
