A former sawmill is now the home of the Ox Hill Community Agricultural Fair.
The new home of the Ox Hill Fair will be in the 1700 block of Mahoning Road in Home. Work is now underway to clean the property to prepare for the next steps of excavation, construction and rebuilding the fair. The fair had been held for many years at the fairgrounds on Route 85 in South Mahoning Township, but the fair and the property owners could not come to terms on the renewal of a lease after two and a half years of negotiations.
If all goes well, organizers would like to see work wrap up in time for the 2021 edition of the Ox Hill Fair. Donations are still welcomed to help with the community fair by mailing donations to Ox Hill Community Fair Association, P.O. Box 105, Home, PA 15747.
