Indiana Borough Council last night approved an application for a $20,000 Walkworks grant.
The money would be used for planning purposes, and borough manager Michael Foote said that the borough may want to work with two other entities and combine their grants.
In other business, the borough approved a motion to move to a hybrid meeting style starting with June’s meetings. Two concerns were brought up with the idea. One would be a concern if Coronavirus cases spike once again. The other concern is how to get the current meeting room up ready for hybrid meetings with getting a screen in to show those taking part virtually, and to have appropriate camera and audio equipment set up for the meeting room itself.
Borough Council’s next regular meeting is set for May 18th.
