PORTION OF PHILADELPHIA STREET TO BE PAVED NEXT WEEK

PennDOT has announced that there will be some roadwork on a portion of Philadelphia Street starting next week.

Beginning at 7:00 AM on May 24th and going through May 27^th, PennDOT road crews will resurface Philadelphia Street between 9^th and 12^th Streets.  The road will be milled and paved, and the railroad crossing will also be adjusted to provide a smoother ride over it.  This is part of the ongoing construction project in the area that started last year.

PennDOT advises motorists that there will be delays in that area over the three-day work period, and drivers should expect to see flaggers, shifts in traffic and some delays in the area.  Motorists can check the 511 PA app or www.511pa.com before they leave for the latest traffic conditions.
