IUP’s Department of Safety Sciences is working with Concurrent Technologies Corporation of Johnstown on a study concerning Covid-19 readiness and response in mid-size companies across the state.
Both entities have collaborated on an extensive literature review and methodology, which includes a survey that will examine workplace and personal variables that influence the perception of readiness and response to Covid-19 by workers. The goal of the survey is to find similarities in readiness and response initiatives among companies.
While IUP will collect the data, CTC has started to solicit companies to take part in the study. While the work will be published, the companies taking part in the study have the option of remaining anonymous.
