Several sentencing hearings are set for Indiana County Court today, including four for an Indiana man charged with multiple drug- and theft-related crimes.
36-year-old Justin David Jones of Indiana is scheduled to go before Indiana County Judge Michael T. Clark for four sentencing hearings today. The earliest of the incident goes back to October 23rd of 2019. In connection with that incident, he pleaded guilty to both charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. He would also plead guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance that goes back to June 4th of last year, theft by unlawful taking on June 6, 2020, and possession with intent to deliver for an incident on July 6th of 2020.
Jury selection is also scheduled this morning for two cases. One case is for 36-year-old Frank Shaffer for charges of possession of a controlled substance or contraband by an inmate, and possession of a controlled substance for an incident on December 10th, 2019. The other case is for 37-year-old Brandon Keihl of Smicksburg. He was charged with prohibited possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of repairing or selling an offensive weapon and summary harassment for an incident on October 8th, 2020.
