The Indiana Area School District has reported another case of Covid-19 in its elementary schools.
On Monday, the district was notified of a new Covid-19 case with a staffer at the Horace Mann Elementary School. The case will count toward the district’s rolling 14-day count, but after working with the Department of Health and with the school nurse, it was determined that no additional students or staff need to be quarantined.
Right now in Indiana, there are three student cases and one staff case of Covid-19 at the Senior High school, four cases among the Junior High and Eisenhower student body, two student cases at Ben Franklin, one staffer at Horace Mann and no cases at East Pike. A total of 52 students are currently in quarantine in the district, with the majority of those in from the Junior High/Eisenhower student body.
River Valley School District’s latest rolling 14-day count includes one Saltsburg Elementary employee, five students at Blairsville Elementary, no cases at the River Valley Middle School and one student at the high school.
Purchase Line reported two students and three staffers are still on the rolling 14 day count for the elementary school and four students at the high school.
Homer-Center has one active covid-19 case with an elementary student that goes back to September 26th.
