During the Indiana Borough Council Meeting, a recent rash of street sign thefts was addressed.
Borough council Vice President and chair of public works Gerald Smith talked about some recent street sign thefts. While some of the thefts were considered pranks, Smith said that one had some serious consequences.
He did say that the accidents did not result in anyone being hurt.
In other business, the borough council approved police chief Justin Schawl to acquire police body cams and related equipment from Pro-Vision Video Systems at a cost of no more than $12,860 and a data storage system for the body cams at a cost of no more than $1200.
