The Purchase Line School district has unveiled its plan for weather delays over the winter, and capabilities that were developed in response to the pandemic will be utilized.
In a community letter issued last week by Superintendent Shawn Ford, the district announced that it will use both remote learning and traditional snow day cancellations and delays this year.
Ford writes that since Purchase Line has the ability to conduct remote learning, there will be days when students can remain at home and still have it count as a regular school day. Students will be expected to complete their educational requirements, including attendance and completion of assignments.
Ford says that they may also use traditional cancellations, delays, and early dismissals depending on the circumstances.
