Four Indiana County School districts are reporting new cases of Covid-19 today.
Indiana School District reported this morning that three positive cases were reported at the high school. Two of those cases will be put on the rolling 14-day count. Two additional students and staffers are in quarantine.
According to the Covid-19 dashboard for the district, two schools are in the moderate transmission levels. The Junior High-Eisenhower combined student bodies have seven students that have tested positive for Covid-19 on the rolling 14-day count. The other district in the moderate level is East Pike, as four staffers have tested positive. Ben Franklin School is in the substantial transmission level with five student cases. Horace Mann and the Senior high are in low transmission level with four at the senior high and two at Horace Mann.
In Homer-Center, two new cases were reported yesterday: one in an elementary student and one in an elementary staffer. No close contacts were identified in either case.
River Valley is reporting four new cases at Blairsville Elementary School. And Marion Center School District is reporting two new cases in the high school, and one each at McCreary and Rayne Elementary Schools.
No new cases were reported by United, Penns Manor and Purchase Line Schools.
