Indiana Borough Police made a few kids happy on Thursday through a donation to the Chevy Chase Community Center.
Yesterday, the police department donated 10 bicycles and five scooters to the community center. The donation effort was coordinated by Police Sargent Jeffrey Atherton and Lisa Kuzneski of the Community Center, with Sargent Jeff Hoag and K-9 officer Axel helping to deliver the bikes and scooters.

The items were recovered by police, but no one has come forward to claim them. In a post on the Indiana Borough Facebook Page, the bikes and scooters will “be given a second chance to aid community members found to be in need.”
