INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
A Pittsburgh man who is wanted in Allegheny County was arrested during a traffic stop on February 23rd in Indiana Borough. Borough police said that he was pulled over at 10:23 PM on the 23rd in the 800 block of Philadelphia Street for not meeting general lighting requirements for his car. When police identified the driver as 53-year-old Timothy Lowe, they discovered his license was suspended for driving under the influence, and had an active warrant out for his arrest from Allegheny County. He was charged via summons with the traffic-stop related crimes, but is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting extradition.
Two women are charged with scattering rubbish on Philadelphia Stree last Wednesday. Indiana borough police reports that they witnessed 22-year-old Tamyla Jennings of Pittsburgh and 21-year-old Parisha Brown of Duquesne throwing garbage onto the road in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street. The two were cited through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
