An Indiana woman was recently named as one of the top female nonprofit leaders by Pennsylvania Business Central.
The Jimmy Stewart Museum’s president and executive director Janie McKirgan was named to a list of 42 women from across the publication area of the PBC. The people were selected for this list by PBC’s editorial team from numerous nominations sent in by local business leaders, chambers of commerce, and readers of PBC.
Not only was McKirgan honored for her work with the Jimmy Stewart Museum, but she has also served on the board of directors for Alice Paul House, IASD Local Board of Trustees, Downtown Indiana, Inc, and the Indiana Soccer Boosters along with her volunteer efforts with the United Way of Indiana County.
