Earlier today, members of Indiana County’s law enforcement community came together to honor those from across the state who died in the line of duty.

This morning’s peace officers memorial service was hosted by Clymer Borough Police Department and was held at Tate Park. Pastor Jack Lucas with Hilltop Baptist Church and the Indiana County Sheriff’s Department Chaplain talked about how important the ceremony is for those who serve their communities.
Sheriff Bob Fyock applauded the Clymer Borough Police Department for hosting the annual ceremony, and encouraged younger officers to continue the tradition.
During the service, 21 police officers, corrections officers and others who died in the line of duty from across Pennsylvania were honored for their sacrifice.
