Road crews will be working on a number of projects in Indiana County this week. There will be traffic restrictions on Oakland Avenue in White Township, where night work is scheduled to begin tomorrow night and last through Wednesday night.
The work will be going on between 7 PM and 7 AM each night as crews begin to switch traffic lanes and move signal heads. There will be ongoing line painting in the construction zone of the $19.3 million Route 286/422 widening and resurfacing project, and PennDOT says the Oakland Avenue main entrance to the Indiana Mall will be closed on Tuesday. Drivers will have to use the Warren Road entrance that day.
There could also be traffic delays this week due to continued patching of Route 119 in Rayne and East Mahoning Township, Route 85 between Plumville and Home, and Route 954 between Smicksburg and Plumville.
