Indiana native Denny Douds has been selected for induction into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Douds is the all-time winningest coach in PSAC history, compiling a record of 264-204-3 between 1974 and 2018 at East Stroudsburg. Douds is also a member of the Indiana County Sports Hall of Fame, as well as the East Stroudsburg, Slippery Rock, and Pennsylvania Northwest halls of fame.
Also in the PA Hall of Fame class to be inducted on October 29th in Reading is former IUP assistant women’s basketball coach Kelly Mazzante, a three-time first-team All-America and two-time Big Ten Player of the Year during her career at Penn State.
Others who will be inducted include former Clarion football coach Al Jacks, Laila Brock, Jim Cunningham, Stu Jackson, Dee Kanter, Dick LeBeau, Jerry Marks, James Roth, Bobby Del Greco and Marty Schottenheimer.
