The new queen is Julia King, a 17-year-old Homer-Center senior from Graceton. The daughter of David and Catherine King plays multiple sports and is also involved in SADD and other school clubs. After her coronation, King said she felt her chances to be crowned the fair queen were slim.
For the second year in a row, 17-year-old United senior Morgan Chichy of Homer City, was named the Alternate Fair Queen. The other finalists included Indiana High senior Marquita Dixon of Shelocta, Marion Center senior Rachael Fox of Indiana, Lily Shilling of Shelocta, Marion Center senior Ella Wells of Marion Center, and Homer-Center senior Kaitlyn White of Homer City.
