The Indiana Salvation Army unit will kick off the Red Kettle Campaign on Tuesday with a breakfast and auction at the Kovalchick Complex. The event starts at 7 AM and about 250 people were registered already as of late last week, with more space available for a suggested donation of fifteen dollars.
Candace Flanders of the Salvation Army says the goal of the campaign this year is $70,000, which is higher than last year.
Red kettles will be set up at Fourth Street BiLo in Indiana, downtown Indiana, Ideal Market in Homer City, Giant Eagle in Indiana, the Indiana Mall, and the Walmarts in Indiana and Blairsville.
