BOYS BASKETBALL
The Indiana boys took on DuBois last night and lost, 59-45. DuBois led after one quarter, 17-8, and outscored Indiana in each of the next two quarters as well, taking a 30-15 lead at the half, and putting the game out of reach in the third. They led 47-25 after three.
Gavin Homer led Indiana with 23 points. Maddux Bennett had 26 for DuBois.
Homer-Center’s boys avenged an earlier loss to Apollo-Ridge last night, knocking off the Vikings 50-37 for the Wildcats’ first win of the season. Michael Krejocic led the way for Homer-Center with 21 points and Owen Saiani added 8. Apollo-Ridge was led by Jake Mull, with 21.
There are two girls basketball games on the air tonight. On Cat Country 106.3 FM, River Valley takes on Purchase Line. Meanwhile, on U92.5 FM, West Shamokin takes on Penns Manor. Airtimes for both games is 7:15 p.m.
