Both the Indiana and Purchase Line School Boards will meet tonight.
On the agenda for the Indiana School Board meeting is the Act 1 resolution that other school districts have passed. This resolution states that the board will not raise school district taxes above the 5.2 percent limit put in place by the State Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year.
The board will also look at approving a School Safety Service Partnership agreement between the district and Indiana Borough for a four-year term. The board will also look to approve two employees for tenure, approve three resignations and the approval of a computer mediated instructor for this school year.
Indiana’s meeting will start at 7:00 in the district board room, and will also be streamed through the district website. Click here to join the Indiana School Board meeting.
Meanwhile, the Purchase Line School Board will meet for its monthly work session tonight. During the meeting, the board will look to approve hiring an interim superintendent. This person will serve as Superintendent when Shawn Ford leaves the district next month to become the assistant superintendent of the DuBois School District. The board will also look at hiring a new head football coach.
That meeting is planned for 7:00 at the district board room, and will also be streamed through the district’s website. Click here to join the Purchase Line School Board.
