Another Indiana County attorney has announced their candidacy for District Judge.
Indiana attorney AnnMarie Everett announced that she will run for the district magistrate’s seat for Indiana Borough and portions of White Township. She looks to fill the seat that is being vacated by retiring District Judge Guy Haberl.
Everett is a native of Indiana, attended Indiana Area High School and earned her undergraduate degree from IUP. She then earned her law degree from Duquesne School of Law, where she graduated in 2010. Upon graduating, Everett has practiced law for 12 years, serving as a public defender for five years while also building a private practice with a focus on family law.
Everett intends to seek both the Democratic and Republican nomination in the May 16th primary election. She joins fellow Indiana attorney Tony Sottile in the race for Judge Haberl’s seat.
