Another person has announced her intention to run for the soon-to-be-vacant district judge seat in Indiana Borough.
Meghan Foulk of Indiana will run for the seat currently occupied by District Judge Guy Haberl, which serves all of Indiana Borough and two precincts of White Township. Foulk is well known for her charitable and service efforts in Indiana County, serving leadership roles in the YMCA of Indiana County and Quota Club and has volunteered with the United Way of Indiana County, the Love of Life Campaign and the Chevy Chase Community Center. For her service efforts, she was named Indiana County Female Civic Leader of the Year for 2017. She said that service has been a part of her life.
Foulk has a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and has degrees in political science and psychology. She was also a clerk for two state common pleas court judges, one of them being Judge Gregory Olson of Indiana County.
She has cross filed for the upcoming primary election, so she will be on both the Republican and Democratic ballots on May 16th.
