The Steelers yesterday signed long snapper Christian Kuntz to a one-year contract. He will be entering his third season with the team.
They also hired former Seahawks defensive assistant Aaron Curry as inside linebackers coach, replacing Jerry Olsavsky, who is apparently out of the organization after 22 years as a player and coach in Pittsburgh. The team did not make an announcement about Olsavsky, but his bio has disappeared from the Steelers’ website.
Curry was a number one draft choice of Seattle, fourth overall, in 2009. He has coached both linebackers and defensive linemen for the Seahawks.
