PennDOT has announced the start of the season’s first repaving project, on Route 119 from the Indiana County line near Route 210 in North Mahoning Township, through Punxsutawney, Big Run, Bell, Henderson, and Young townships in Jefferson County. The project will also involve work on the bridge carrying 119 over Mahoning Creek in Punxsutawney.
The $6.1 million project begins on Monday, March 27th and will include short-term lane closures, and multiple alternating locations. It’s scheduled for completion in October.
